A picture is worth a thousand words.

That is why a graphic abstract can help on getting quickly to the point and getting projects and grants.

These works are part of several collaborations with UMCG (University Medical Center Groningen) .

Every time I speak with these incredible doctors, I not only gain knowledge but also get energy back. Research always focuses on bringing the public and ultimately the world to a better place.

I feel very fortunate to have had these opportunities.

In particular, this abstract reflects a successful collaboration and it has been a pleasure to work with Professor Martijn Nawijn

Illustration helps to analise ideas and figure out how things work.

As the peer review process in scientific progress is very long, and most of the work takes a long time before being published and made available to the public, some of the pictures have been modified for this reason.
