Evooolve – The project

The magic of life lies in the wonder that all living things on our planet evolved from the same molecules.

Evooolve celebrates the connections we share with the diverse species we share our world with.

A total of 126 species are linked through the Tree of Life, tracing back to the origin of life itself. This study began with DNA research, made possible by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), which advances science and health by providing access to biomedical and genomic data (NCBI).

Using iTOL (Interactive Tree of Life), we constructed the foundational tree. Raw NCBI data was processed to visualize nodes and connections between organisms. The circular visualization reflects the modern scientific perspective that all species are equal, each playing a fundamental role in Earth’s balance.

From this foundation, various design hypotheses were explored, always prioritizing scientific accuracy. Evooolve honors the resilience of all species that have survived millions of years of evolution to exist alongside us today.

The game has been developed—and continues to evolve—to celebrate biodiversity.
