In the Evolution Path inside the Hortus Botanicus In Haren, The Netherlands, you can follow how plants and their reproductions evolved: it began 500 million years ago with single-celled aquatic organisms that were first able to generate energy through photosynthesis and converting sunlight into energy.
Information boards detail each plant group and live examples of plants from that group. As you walk past the 11 stations, you can follow in words, photos and illustrations on the information boards, and “in real life” just aside of them: you’ll discover how plants continually acquired new traits, innovations that allowed them to adapt and spread more effectively.
The ecologist evolutionist Roel Strijkstra shaped the the information to guide the visitors through the ages. With Evooolve we made the beautiful illustrations that how their appearance and how mechanism of their reproduction changed.
